Why would there be an international inspection station?
BNSF calls the facility they have planned to build between Gardner and Edgerton an inland port. This means that goods will cross the United States border and be inspected at a station in this area.
A proposed site for the station is Moonlight Road and Interstate-35 in Gardner.
