The 56 Highway Corridor Plan that KDOT is developing would be east-west access for trucks traveling to the BNSF intermodal railyard and warehousing facilities.  (Maps)

The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) has filed comments and an FOIA with the ACE  regarding the permitting of BNSF's Intermodal facility in Johnson County.   
THE Impact Project has provided indispensable guidance, support and assistance. 
Individuals from the Sierra Club Kansas Chapter Executive Committee have volunteered their valuable time and expertise for research, meetings, presentations and publications.  
BNSF's rail-trucking facility in Johnson County would establish our area as an international inland port.  The impacts of such development can be seen in the video Breathless in LA.  
Sustainability Action Network, a Kansas grassroots organization, filed comments with the ACE and has helped to spread the word about our organization.  
International Dark Sky Association filed comments with the ACE regarding the lack of plans for light pollution and making important recommendations. 
Johnson County Air Quality Program is a site for educating the public on ozone issues.
